I'm Hayden Jananthan, currently a mathematician at the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Supercomputing Center as Technical Staff. Prior to MIT Lincoln Laboratory, I completed my PhD in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 2021 under the direction of Stephen Simpson with my area of focus in mathematical logic, specifically computability theory.

At a high level, my academic interests tend to revolve around making traditionally 'pure' mathematics applicable in traditionally 'applied' fields, including the creation of educational resources, creating computational tools based on pure mathematical abstractions, and studying the notion of computation from a mathematical perspective.
